VidBlaster is a genius tool to have in any studio environment. Even in productions where VidBlaster is not the main switcher we use it for clip playout and a universal signal converter. I can bring in analog cameras, IP-Cameras, RTP-streams, Screen captures, Firewire... You name it, into a SDI. The closest thing in hardware is the Sony FS2 at $6000 and it cant do 5% of what VB does.
