"secured fantastic live streaming rights"

...I thought I should let you know that Quipu TV, the company I formed recently with two other BBC producers, has secured fantastic live streaming rights from the International Cricket Council for several forthcoming events in the UAE! ... we have been given the rights to cover the opening match of the England squad's tour to play Test matches against Pakistan. This is a three-day warm-up game on 7-9 January in Dubai between England and a Select team from the Associate (second-tier) nations, in which Quipu TV is particularly interested. We believe this will get considerable interest around the cricketing world - especially among England fans - and our audience could reach five figures, even with Pay-Per-View, which we will be using to protect our finances as we are obliged to use an ad-free platform. Our coverage will be embedded in or linked from perhaps a dozen websites around the world.

We will, of course, be using Vidblaster (1.36) as our production platform, with 4/5 cameras ... and a six-man crew. We will certainly be making full use of the features of your software, including replays ... video effects, overlays, scoreboards and lots of play-in modules. We will be on the air for eight continuous hours per day for the three days of the game (unless it finishes earlier).

"This is an impossible task with traditional broadcast equipment"

We are satisfied with the performance we have gotten from our Vidblaster system and the pre-season games helped us straighten out the little glitches that were left. Vidblaster is now installed in our production unit and is used in commercial sports webcasts for swedens 2 largest tv-networks and is performing great! The API has given us full control over the production and allows 1 person to switch 6 cameras, 2 replay channels, collect statistics and overlay graphics. This is an impossible task with traditional broadcast equipment.

"Vidblaster is pretty awesome!"

Vidblaster is pretty awesome, and allows me to build my own setup instead of paying $5k for a Newtek Tricaster!

"What you provide as a software solution replaces the need for 10's of thousands of dollars of professional studio equipment..."

Here's the bottom line. If you have a strong/capable PC along w/ a decent internet connection, VidBlaster is incredible. We were still able to "limp along" for nearly a year w/ a sub-par computer using VB, but now that we have the "Dream System", it's full speed ahead!

Thank you Mike for a great product, and for the continual updates and support you provide. It's very rare to see a one-man operation not only write all of the code for a superior product, but to also handle all support, feature requests, etc. From one software engineer to another, I would like to say Kudos my friend.

"...damn fine job, you do good work !!!"

On May 27, 2010 at 2100 hours eastern US time I went live with my first broadcast using VidBlaster v1.17.

Anyone wishing to view the results can catch it as a rerun at http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/7258575 ...

I do a weekly broadcast with an alternative energy theme ... the format is pretty much a standard late night TV talking head show ... I do a brief monologue then introduce a guest who provides a demonstration of some technique, gadget, theory and/or makes a sales pitch ...

"...it's simply incredible that an ordinary person can now take advantage of such functionality for so little money."

I am not a customer since I don't have a real-life reason to use your product, but I follow Vidblaster from the beginning because I love technology and have tried the trial version a long time ago with a couple of webcams and found it unbelievable. The reason is my interest in everything digital/media and the fact that professional real-time video mixing is one of the most ambitious projects one could think of using mainstream hardware.
