VidBlaster v0.39 - Camera Dissolve Transition

Friday, 10 October 2008

VidBlaster39DissolveVidBlaster v0.39 beta introduces video transitions to the camera modules, starting with the dissolve. At the same time I have replaced the Select button with a Cut and Take button. When selecting one of the dissolve transitions and doing a take, one camera image will fade into another one instead of replacing it at once. I have also removed the ability to unselect a camera image, thus avoiding black video when accidentally toggle a camera off. If you do need to unselect a camera (e.g. at the end of the show), you can Deselect it from the popup menu. As usual several small improvements were made as well as various bug fixes. Again, this version has a lot of internal changes, most of which you should not notice. If you do, please let me know via the forum or email. Version 0.39 beta is available for download at the Download page at www.vidblaster.com. Visit the Store to order your license for VidBlaster Home or Pro.

VidBlaster v0.38 - Duo, Triple and Quad Split Video Effects

Friday, 03 October 2008

VidBlaster38QuadSplitVidBlaster v0.38 beta introduces 3 new video effects: Side by Side Split, Triple Split and Quad Split. Video effects like these can be seen in shows like CNET's Buzz Out Loud. Another addition to this version is optional saving in a very high quality MOV format. To allow for this I have also increased the quality setting of the master recording format (WMV). As usual several small improvements were done as well as various bug fixes, including one in the recorder's uncompressed AVI recording feature.
